Overview

You will take on an interface role between mathematics and software development, designing applications for the evaluation of complex measurement data. You will work in an agile development team and contribute to the product maturity of modern analysis tools. Technically, you will work with programming languages and libraries in a cluster, for example, programming languages such as C++, Python or Java, as well as libraries for geometry and point cloud analysis such as PCL, OpenCV or comparable frameworks. The position offers you a lot of creative freedom, regular further training opportunities, and real responsibility in technical further development.

Your Tasks

• Develop and implement numerical algorithms for the evaluation of complex measurement data
• Process and analyze point cloud data and geometric structures with modern libraries
• Optimize approximation and compensation methods for higher accuracy and performance
• Work closely with software developers, testers, and other departments
• Support the further development of software components to market readiness
• Create understandable project documentation and status reports

Your Profile

• Completed studies in mathematics or a comparable field
• Sound knowledge in numerical mathematics, geometry, or algorithmics
• Practical experience in software development, ideally with C++
• Proficient in handling data structures and algorithmic thinking
• Interest in application-oriented solutions in a technical environment
• Good German language skills and communicative work in interdisciplinary teams
