Job Description
We are looking for an all-round colleague who will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of technical tasks, both at our own location (projects) and at our customers' sites (service). From assembly and testing to installation, service and maintenance, and much more. In short, a technically challenging role that will take you to various locations!
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install and test our optical sorting machines.
- Commission systems and carry out service and maintenance on sorting systems, vision systems, control systems, transport systems and mechanical applications at customer sites, both domestically and abroad.
- Investigate, locate, analyse and resolve malfunctions.
- Advise, instruct and train users at our customers' sites.
- Prepare the required documentation, such as test reports, programs and diagrams, and record any changes made.
- The work may be mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and optical in nature.
- Contribute ideas for process and procedure improvements within your department and our organisation.
Requirements
This is you!
- Minimum of a technical vocational education (MBO) degree.
- Preferably several years of demonstrable experience as an (international field/project/service) technician.
- Experience with various control systems (and/or vision technology) is considered a plus.
- Besides Dutch, you also speak English. If you also speak German, that's a great bonus!
- You have knowledge of machine safety.
- You hold a VCA Basic certificate (or are willing to obtain one), a category B driving licence, and enjoy travelling.
- You are independent, responsible, flexible and enjoy variety in your work.

OptiServe BV is an emerging player, mainly in the European market, specialising in the production and maintenance of optical sorting machines for the food-processing industry, as well as the non-food industry. Our self-developed "Xcalibur" sorting machine is our pride and joy!
Our office, including our own workshop, is located in Maarheeze. We are a small, close-knit team with a flat structure and short lines of communication. We believe in our services and products and are convinced that by working together, we can grow and thrive.
