What You'll Do

Within Volvo Group Purchasing, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society as a whole. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and supporting project risk management for Volvo Group.
  • Implementing and maintaining a structure and governance to proactively manage risks impacting our project outcomes.

Your Future Team

Join a team of 10 people located between Lyon (France) and Gothenburg (Sweden), responsible for purchasing project management. The position is based in Lyon (Saint Priest, Metro D).

I have been a Manager for 19 years within Volvo Group, and I am open to diverse profiles to enrich the team.

Who You Are

  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain, including supplier reliability, geopolitical issues, and transport disruptions.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain resilience.
  • Monitor and report on supply chain risk factors and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to improve supply chain performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT technologies and trends (AI).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve supply chain visibility.

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with IT mapping tools and software, and an interest in AI deployment.
  • Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree or engineering diploma in industry/or business.
  • Proficiency in Power BI would be a plus.
