Your Daily Life

The Gennevilliers Campus is at the heart of the design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radiocommunications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

Within the Tactical Networking IP (TNI) department, you will join a team of passionate developers working on the evolution of a complete network system. This system covers IP networking over heterogeneous communication means (military radio, SatCom, 4G/5G, microwave link), low-bandwidth messaging, and the administration of network equipment such as switches, firewalls, and routers.

In a demanding operational context, the role's challenges are twofold:

• You will contribute to strengthening the efficiency and robustness of a network equipment configuration management software, to ensure an optimal level of communication security and reliability. This involves designing automation, security, and simplification solutions for administration.
• You will also participate in the migration of a web interface developed in Angular to an Android application, with the goal of improving ergonomics, facilitating access to tools, and adapting functionalities to mobile usage.

Your Main Missions Will Consist Of:

Improvement of Network Equipment Configuration Generation (Firewall / Encryptor):

• Analyze current configuration generation processes for firewall and encryptor network equipment.
• Propose and implement optimizations (automation, reliability, workflow simplification).
• Develop the solution.
• Write user and technical documentation.
• Contribute to defining and evolving best practices for configuration management.

Migration of Angular HMI to an Android Application:

• Familiarize yourself with the existing HMI developed in Angular.
• Participate in feasibility studies and tests for migrating Angular components to an architecture suitable for Android.
• Develop migration prototypes to validate technical choices.

Your Profile:

You are pursuing an engineering degree or equivalent, focused on software development, and looking for a 2 or 3-year apprenticeship?

You have:

• Proficiency in one or more software development languages (C++, Java, JavaScript)
• Proficiency in Windows / Linux environments
• Ideally, initial experience with Angular or Android development
