The Belfort site is a production site for high-speed trainsets and locomotives. The Belfort ALSTOM Finance department manages and controls the financial performance of the site, including its project portfolio.

We are looking for a candidate to join our Finance Project Managers team starting in September, to support and partner in the financial steering of projects, in close collaboration with the project, industrial, and financial teams.

In partnership with the team, and under the responsibility of a Finance Project Manager, you will make a significant contribution to the financial performance monitoring of large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

You will be particularly involved in the following missions:

Financial steering support for projects:

  • Tracking project expenses and identifying variances
  • Providing operational teams with necessary financial inputs and actively participating in analysis and identification of risks & opportunities.

Monitoring of internal Alstom contracts:

  • Monitoring contracts with other Alstom entities

Reporting

  • Supporting Finance Project Managers in preparing project reports (actuals, budgets, Rolling Forecast)

Continuous improvement:

  • Being a major player in the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement by creating or updating various finance procedures.

Your Profile

  • You are currently pursuing higher education in Finance or Management Control (BAC+4/BAC+5) at a business school or university.
  • You are rigorous and possess a well-developed analytical mind, enabling you to approach financial issues with precision and efficiency.
  • You have strong communication skills and a keen interest in industrial products.
  • You have mastered Excel and have a good command of English, essential for working in an international context.
