Thales is driving an optimisation of its information system by implementing RPA solutions to eliminate non‑value‑added data entry and consultation tasks. You will be part of the Information Systems Directorate, working with Business and IT teams to design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions that automate business processes across the information system.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse needs: meet with business teams, identify processes to automate, and formalise them as BPMN diagrams or flowcharts.
- Functional design: write functional and technical specifications describing the expected robot behaviour.
- Bot development: create automations in UiPath Studio using UI activities, OCR, API calls, database access, etc.
- Testing and validation: design unit and integration test scenarios, execute them, and validate results with end users.
- Production deployment: publish robots to UiPath Orchestrator, configure execution schedules and monitoring alerts.
- Support and monitoring: track bot performance (logs, KPIs), manage incidents, and update operational documentation.
- Continuous improvement: analyse feedback, propose optimisations, and share best practices within the RPA Centre of Excellence.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (seeking an apprenticeship).
- Proficiency in development languages such as C# and JavaScript.
- Good knowledge of relational and/or object‑oriented databases.
- Recognised for rigor, motivation, and teamwork.
- Ideally, experience in IT development or automation/RPA, with familiarity with UiPath, Git, and GitLab.
