Your Daily Life

Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems division, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets…), force protection systems, and area control. With its 450 employees, including engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site handles research and development, production, testing, and all the necessary support functions for the design of high-performance systems essential for the success of operational missions.

Thales has formed a Joint-Venture called "JUNGHANS T2M" with the German defense group DIEHL, employing 165 people. This allows both companies to combine their expertise in precision electronics and mechanics, becoming a global leader in ammunition fuses. This Joint-Venture is also present at the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.

Within the Engineering Competence Center, you will join the team responsible for deploying and supporting software methods and tools for engineering. You will be responsible for advising on the use of Thales-offered engineering practices (eTUP) and tools (Orchestra), and will support users in adopting tool-assisted engineering methods aimed at improving the performance of systems engineers' work and ensuring the compliance and quality of our products.

You will participate in defining the engineering workshops for the La Ferté Saint Aubin site, as well as deploying and configuring engineering tools within projects on the following topics:

  • Requirements Management
  • Technical facts and change management
  • IVV Management
  • Modeling

The objective is to support new users in the use of these tools.

Your Profile

  • You are joining an engineering school and are looking for a 3-year apprenticeship program.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are a good listener.
  • You are recognized for your rigor and tenacity in facing various problems.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of Doors and JIRA tools.
  • You master one or more programming languages.
