A well-established architectural firm based in Cape Town, specialising in large-scale commercial and industrial developments, is seeking a skilled and experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual to contribute to high-profile projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will be involved in the delivery of major commercial and industrial projects, working across various project stages from design development through to technical documentation and implementation. The role requires a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements within the Cape Town region.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial and/or industrial architecture
- Strong proficiency in Revit (non-negotiable) and AutoCAD
- Must be based in Cape Town
- Solid understanding of Cape Town municipal regulations and approval processes
- Strong technical and detailing ability
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Professional, organised, and deadline-driven

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and documentation
- Work extensively in Revit (essential) and AutoCAD
- Assist with design development and technical detailing
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and council requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion
