About the role

The intern will conduct an in-depth literature review on the entire battery industry ecosystem.
He will analyze its value chain and its main players throughout the life cycle, from raw materials, production, application, to recycling.
The analysis will integrate the strategies of the main countries to assess Europe's competitiveness in the international market.
The intern will define the actors, key variables, and their interactions, and propose an analytical diagram illustrating the links between policies, industry, and geoeconomics.
He will primarily base his work on the theoretical corpus of economic sciences.
The study will also focus on available methodologies in the literature that can be applied to the subject.
It will provide, for example, elements on systemic analysis, industrial economics, and innovation systems.
The objective is to carry out a preliminary study to identify theoretical avenues for the thesis.

The intern will have the opportunity to pursue the study within the framework of a doctoral thesis in economic sciences.

Final year of Master 2 in economics, strategic management, or engineering school (Bac+5), with solid knowledge in industrial economics and/or energy economics (a dual qualification being an asset).
Strong motivation to study the economic issues related to industry, competitiveness, and the energy sector.
Autonomy, analytical skills, strategic thinking, collaborative and open-minded spirit.
Very good command of English and computer tools.
