About
For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Workday Data Analyst (Data Migration) (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
The Data Analyst supports the GHCX transformation by ensuring data readiness for Workday implementation, with a focus on data analysis, cleansing, transformation, and migration.
Data Analysis & Data Quality
- Analyze Human Capital data across source systems (e.g., Oracle, local HR systems)
- Assess data completeness, consistency, and quality issues
Data Migration Preparation
- Support source-to-target data mapping (legacy → Workday)
- Define and validate data transformation logic

Data Cleansing & Harmonization
- Drive data cleansing activities with regional stakeholders
- Align data with global definitions and standards (Data Catalog)
- Support naming conventions and reference value harmonization
Migration Execution Support
- Support data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) activities
- Validate data in migration cycles and test phases
- Perform data reconciliation and validation post-load
- Work closely with HC teams (data owners), IT (data extraction & integration), and System Integrator (Implementation)
Qualifications
- Strong experience in data analysis & data migration projects
- Experience with Workday data structures / HCM data model is must have
- Hands-on experience with Data mapping, Data transformation logic, and Data quality assessment
- Strong Excel / data tooling skills
- Experience in global HC data environments
