About the role
Position Summary
Based out of either Halifax or New Glasgow, NS or Mississauga, ON, the Analyst, Leasing & Operations is responsible for establishing and delivering structures, scalable analytics to support leasing and operational decision‑making across the portfolio. The Analyst is responsible for implementing recurring reporting, strengthening data integrity and KPI governance, and providing day‑to‑day analytics support to the leasing, operations, and asset management teams. The Analyst will play a key role in delivering actionable insights that support investment, development, and portfolio management decisions. Additional duties include:
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains recurring leasing and operations dashboard and reports to support portfolio performance monitoring and decision‑making.
- Establishes and supports KPI governance, including defining metrics, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring consistent application across the portfolio.
- Performs data validation and reconciliation to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and enhance confidence in reporting outputs.
- Provides day‑to‑day analytics support to leasing, operations, and asset management teams, responding to business needs with timely, actionable insights.
- Analyses leasing performance, tenant trends, and operational metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and drivers of performance.
- Supports proactive tenant and portfolio management by improving visibility into tenant risk, renewal pipelines, and market dynamics.
- Collaborates cross‑functionally with leasing, operations, finance, and development teams to gather data, align assumptions, and improve analytics processes.
- Reduces reliance on external advisory analytics by building and maintaining internal capabilities, tools, and standardized reporting.
- Develops and maintains industry knowledge through research, networking, and review of market trends and best practices.
- Engages across all levels of the organization to create and promote a safe and respectful work environment.
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned.
Compensation
Base salary/hourly rate is thoughtfully determined based on a range of factors, including location, role scope and level, relevant education and training, experience, skills, and qualifications, while ensuring internal equity and alignment with market data.
Expected salary range: CAD $61,500 – $90,000 per annum.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in analysis, real estate, finance, or a related environment.
- Experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, and dashboard development (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Experience in real estate (leasing, operations, asset management or corporate development) is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of KPI development, data governance, and reporting best practices is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
