Your Tasks

• Analysis of developments in the European electricity futures market
• Creation and maintenance of fundamental and electricity price forecasts (e.g., scenarios for energy prices, CO?, fuels, demand)
• Evaluation of regulatory developments and their impact on prices and long-term strategies
• Support of trading and portfolio management with strategic market analyses
• Development and elaboration of trading and portfolio management strategies as input for operational portfolio management and trading for the management of our asset and customer portfolio with a focus on the long, medium, and short-term time horizons

Your Profile

• Degree in energy economics, economics, environmental economics, physics, mathematics, engineering, data science, or comparable
• Very good understanding of electricity market fundamentals
• Proficient knowledge in data analysis and modeling
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to communicate complex long-term relationships clearly and understandably
• Team player
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
