Context

As part of the expansion of data and analytics capabilities across our clients, we are looking for a BI Developer & Data Science Specialist to design impactful BI solutions and deliver advanced analytical insights.

This role sits at the crossroads of business intelligence, data analysis, and data science, enabling organizations to turn data into actionable insights and data-driven decisions.

Mission Objectives

Business Intelligence Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik…)
  • Translate business needs into efficient and user-friendly BI solutions
  • Optimize data models, queries, and dashboards for performance and scalability
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reported data

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making

Data Science & AI

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
  • Perform feature engineering, model training, validation, and evaluation
  • Integrate analytical models into BI tools or applications
  • Monitor model performance, drift, and accuracy over time

Data Governance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards
  • Collaborate with governance teams to maintain consistency of metrics and definitions

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Work closely with business teams, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers
  • Contribute to agile processes (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos)
  • Document solutions and ensure knowledge sharing

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analytics workflows
  • Stay up to date with emerging BI, analytics, and AI technologies
  • Contribute to the evolution of data and analytics practices

Key Skills

  • Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik…)
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar analytical languages
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch…)
  • Understanding of data pipelines and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in BI, data analysis, or data science
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end BI and analytical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and experience in cross-functional environments
  • Structured and proactive approach with attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Position based in Switzerland

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time analytics or streaming data
  • Knowledge of CI/CD for analytics and ML workflows
  • Experience in regulated environments
  • Certifications in BI, analytics, or data science
