Your Role

Reporting to the Capital Assets Controller, you will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions related to property management accounting.

Where You'll Focus

• Analyze and validate rent, tax, and common area maintenance (CAM) charges.
• Account for prepaid and deferred rent.
• Record accrued expenses and revenues.
• Analyze the VPM tax balance sheet.
• Account for joint venture properties.
• Account for shopping centers.
• Process invoices from the property management system.
• Record provisions for closed stores.
• Participate in the budgeting process.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Accounting designation, or in progress (an asset).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Bilingualism (oral and written).
• Autonomy and resourcefulness.
• Adherence to deadlines and commitment to quality customer service.
• Initiative and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
