Our client is recruiting a Senior Analyst, Consolidation & Reporting. They are seeking a qualified, proactive, and dedicated professional to join their team and contribute to the organization’s continued success.

Responsibilities

• Leading the consolidation process under the supervision of the Director of Financial Accounting.
• Contributing to the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and public disclosure documents.
• Participating in the implementation of a consolidation system and supporting the optimization of financial processes.
• Driving process improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Preparing reporting materials and presentations for management, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.
• Collaborating with business units and subsidiaries to ensure accurate accounting, valuation, and measurement of investments.
• Supporting transactions from an accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting perspective.
• Maintaining and improving documentation related to internal controls and entity-level controls.
• Assisting with budgeting and financial planning.
• Preparing ad hoc analyses and completing special projects as required.

Professional Experience / Education

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in public company financial accounting and reporting or within an accounting firm.
• University degree and recognized accounting designation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ASPE, as well as consolidation principles.

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable working with various financial systems.

• Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
