The Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst works within the Sourcing organization dedicated to nuclear activities, contributing to continuous improvement of purchasing performance through data exploitation, structuring, and valorization. Collaborating with Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, EHS, Commodity Leaders, and Project/Tendering Managers, they analyze complex datasets to enhance quality, traceability, and understanding of data usage in the Sourcing environment.

In this role, they participate in designing, developing, and deploying analytical solutions, automated reports, and advanced methods to detect patterns, improve data quality, and support decision-making in a nuclear context demanding safety, compliance, and operational rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and translate internal client needs into data and analytics requirements, providing initial analysis to inform purchasing and supply chain decisions.
  • Conduct exploratory and targeted analyses using descriptive statistical methods and advanced analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to assess Sourcing data quality, identify gaps, propose and monitor improvement plans.
  • Contribute to prediction and prescription projects, including supply reliability, supplier risk management, and purchasing cycle optimization.
  • Develop and deploy automated role-based dashboards to ensure consistent and regular data dissemination.
  • Document and communicate methods, results, and assumptions to stakeholders to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Update and formalize standards, best practices, and analytical processes used within the team.
  • Produce ad hoc reports to meet operational and strategic needs of nuclear Sourcing.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent with 6 years total experience including at least 3 years professional experience in data science or data analysis.
  • Or Master's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent with at least 3 years experience in data science or data analysis.

Desired Skills

  • Proven skills in data management methods.
  • Proven skills in feature extraction and development and deployment of real-time analyses.
  • Proven skills in data visualization (Tableau / Power BI).
  • Basic experience with SQL and Python is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proven skills in one or more sectors where Arabelle Solutions operates.
  • Proven skills in defining and delivering added value for the client.
