Role Description

This is a contract, fully remote role for an Analytics Solutions Consultant (Sales).

This role combines technical understanding with business development, focusing on identifying opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and delivering tailored analytics solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and reaching out to potential clients using tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn
  • Conducting outreach (email, LinkedIn, and light calls) and initial client consultations
  • Understanding client needs and translating them into data analytics, dashboard, and automation workflow solutions
  • Presenting DataInfer’s capabilities, including Power BI dashboards, AI analytics, and workflow automation
  • Developing proposals, statements of work, and pricing recommendations
  • Managing presales activities and supporting deal closing
  • Facilitating smooth transitions to project delivery
  • Identifying strategic opportunities and building long-term client relationships
  • Working closely with the founder to refine messaging, positioning, and offerings

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to understand data and translate business needs into solutions
  • Experience in consulting, presales, or client-facing roles
  • Proven ability in sales, with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python
  • Experience or exposure to the Microsoft data ecosystem, including Power Platform (Power Automate), Microsoft Fabric, and Dynamics 365 (CRM and F&O) is a plus
  • Understanding of data analytics, dashboards, and automation workflows
  • Project management skills to support structured and high-quality delivery
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, startup environment
  • Prior experience in data analytics, machine learning, or related industries is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field preferred
