Junior Mobile Developer - Android/IOS

Location

Atlanta, GA (This role includes paid training of 10 weeks)

Candidate must be able to relocate.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Android apps using languages like Kotlin and Java
• Work with Android frameworks such as Android SDK
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Fix bugs and improve app performance
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Test applications and ensure compatibility across devices

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Android app architecture (e.g., MVVM or MVC)
• Familiarity with tools like Android Studio
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
• Understanding of version control systems like Git
• Basic UI/UX design principles for mobile apps

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (often preferred but not always mandatory)
• Internship or personal Android projects (GitHub portfolio helps a lot)
