Role: Android Developer (f/m/d)
You will be part of the development team at our headquarters in Immenstadt (Allgäu) or our branch in Cambridge (UK). The team develops the technical basis and features of the Outdooractive platform, handles server infrastructure, interfaces, data and supports Outdooractive API partners. Everyone contributes to the performance, scalability and stability of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Expand, improve and maintain the Outdooractive apps.
- Test the robustness, edge cases, usability and reliability of the code.
- Develop new features.
- Explore new, applicable technologies within the Apple ecosystem.
- Work closely with the Creative, Platform and Community divisions.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or comparable vocational training.
- Several years of experience as an Android Developer (f/m/d), ideally with published apps.
- Profound understanding of the Android framework.
- Experience with Android Studio.
- High interest in wearables, Android system technology and developing a platform for outdoor activities.
- Passion for outdoor sports, innovative technologies and social media.
- Autonomous, solution‑oriented teamwork.
