Android Developer - Framework-Level Development

About

You will focus on framework-level development to build and maintain scalable Android applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications with a focus on framework-level functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
• Identify and correct performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensure application responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Work with UI/UX designers to implement seamless user experiences.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android framework APIs and libraries, including Jetpack, Dagger, Retrofit, and Room.
• Solid understanding of Android design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end integration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, MVVM pattern, and Android architecture components.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and Google Play Console distribution.
• Knowledge of cloud services and APIs, such as Firebase.
