Android Developer (Goregaon)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Android application development, with strong fundamentals in Kotlin, contemporary architecture components, and proven experience in building scalable SDKs. You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver seamless, user-focused experiences and take end-to-end ownership of features — from design to deployment. This role is ideal for someone who loves clean code, innovation, and continuous learning in Android development

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin. - Implement modern Android UI using Jetpack Compose and follow best coding practices. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver user-focused solutions. - Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable code. - Participate in modular development, ensuring smooth integration across app components. - Utilize data structures and algorithms to build efficient and optimized solutions. - Work with RESTful APIs, JSON, Retrofit, and Room for seamless data handling. - Follow MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns for robust app design. - Use Git for version control and contribute effectively within a collaborative workflow. - Support debugging, testing, and performance optimization efforts. - Stay updated with new Android tools, libraries, and best practices to enhance app performance.

Background and Experience :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development. - Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK. - Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and modern Android frameworks. - Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Android app lifecycle. - Familiarity with multi-module projects and Gradle dependency management. - Good grasp of REST APIs, Retrofit, Room, and Hilt/Dagger. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions) is a plus. - Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to high-quality mobile solutions.
