Job Description

As an Android Developer, you will be instrumental in the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality, high-performance, and visually appealing Android applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code for Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge within the team.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as an Android Developer, with a strong portfolio of released applications.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools like Android Studio Profiler.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of modern Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room).
