These will ultimately be permanent positions, but the client prefers to hire after an initial 6 month contract term. Applicants should be comfortable with a 6-12 month contract that will convert to permanent employment based on performance.

Top Must Haves: 8+ years of Android development with solid design experience, Java, Kotlin, XML, Jetpack Compose.

Job Description

The Mobile Consultant (Architect) is responsible for leading the functional design and development of application systems across all technologies and platforms. The role provides consultation for senior management on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging mobile technologies, translating user requirements to process and data requirements and developing solutions for the business with far-reaching impact. The Mobile Consultant provides technical leadership to develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms, ensuring the designed specifications achieve business needs. In addition, the role provides comprehensive senior level technical consulting to other IT senior management and senior technical teams. The role makes technology selection decisions that are often made in situations where business requirements are not completely defined.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Android development including extensive design experience
• 5+ years with Java
• Solid expertise with Kotlin
• Prior experience with XML
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose
• Excellent communication skills
