Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile applications for Android and iOS using modern frameworks such as React Native, Xamarin, and native SDKs like Swift for iOS and Java/Kotlin for Android.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions utilizing RESTful APIs, Web services, and SDKs.
• Implement best practices in application development including design patterns, MVC architecture, and Test‑driven development to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to identify issues early in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring smooth releases through CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and services while maintaining security protocols such as authentication mechanisms and secure data handling.
• Participate actively in Agile development cycles using Jira or equivalent project management tools to deliver features on time.
• Write scripting in Bash or Shell Scripting for automation tasks related to build processes or environment setup.
• Maintain version control using GitHub or SVN, ensuring code integrity across multiple development environments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in developing mobile applications on Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) platforms with a strong understanding of SDKs and APIs.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Firebase, as well as relational databases such as MySQL and SQLite.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, Web services (SOAP), JSON/XML data formats, and integration techniques.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end frameworks including React Native, Angular, or React.js for cross‑platform development.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies like Agile, SDLC, and Test‑driven development practices.
• Ability to utilize version control systems such as Git or SVN effectively within collaborative teams.
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline deployment pipelines.
• Experience with debugging tools within Visual Studio or Xcode to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

Compensation

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
