For our good client, a leading Swiss insurance company with a strong focus on digital insurance solutions in the individual life sector, we are currently looking for a System Application Specialist.

In this role, you will ensure the stable operation of business-critical insurance applications and act as an interface between the business unit, IT, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and support adjustments in business-critical IT applications
• Ensure operation within the team (2nd Level Support, authorization management, batch monitoring, incident handling, E2E monitoring)
• Identify and implement continuous improvements
• Close collaboration with various specialist departments and suppliers
• Create concepts and documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or comparable professional experience
• 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems
• Experience with web server administration and operation (preferably IIS)
• Understanding of network and security concepts
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
• Understanding of Service Management (e.g., ITIL)
• Knowledge in the area of individual life insurance (product and sales process) and/or investment advice is advantageous
• Accustomed to working in a structured and process-oriented environment and using corresponding work methods
