About Our Client
Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable to join their dynamic accounting team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate auditing, uploading, recording, and processing of firm invoices and employee expense reports — all in compliance with firm policies and client guidelines.
Requirements
- Batchelor’s (prefered Accounting)
- 2-5 years of full cycle AP experience
- Advanced Excel – Pivot table vlookup
- 3 way matching
Responsibilities
- Audit vendor invoices and employee expense reports to ensure compliance with firm and client policies.
- Upload vendor invoices and cost entries to be billed to clients.
- Prepare and process checks and electronic payments to vendors and employees.
- Assist with reconciliation of the Wells Fargo credit card program.
- Maintain the 1099 vendor database and obtain proper documentation from vendors as needed.
- Research unpaid invoices and resolve reconciling items in collaboration with the GL and billing teams.
- Provide documentation for audits and respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payment status.
- Uphold high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive firm and client information.
