Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning & Scheduling

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Project Master Schedule using tools like MS Project or Primavera P6.
    • Monitor critical path activities and identify potential delays before they impact the timeline.
    • Coordinate with sub‑contractors and internal teams to track progress against milestones.
  2. Financial Control & Reporting

    • Support the Project Manager in budget tracking, cost forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Process and track Change Orders, ensuring all financial impacts are documented and approved.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly status reports highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  3. Document & Quality Management

    • Manage the project’s document control system (RFIs, Submittals, Transmittals, and Meeting Minutes).
    • Ensure all project documentation complies with internal audit standards and client requirements.
    • Assist in the close‑out process, including punch lists and final documentation handover.
  4. Stakeholder Assistance

    • Act as a primary liaison between the field team and the project office.
    • Organize and facilitate project coordination meetings, ensuring action items are tracked to completion.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or MBA.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCP (Certified Cost Professional) is highly preferred.
  • Expertise: 10+ years in Project Controls, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
