App Dev – Java – Sr

Job Description

Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support scalable backend solutions. This role focuses on building and enhancing customer?facing applications using modern backend technologies in a cloud?based environment. The ideal candidate brings deep backend development experience, strong cloud expertise, and the ability to contribute in a fast?paced Agile setting.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with product managers and engineering teams to deliver high?quality solutions
• Participating in sprint planning and daily standups
• Contributing to the development of new application functionality

Candidates should be comfortable working across distributed systems and supporting enterprise?scale platforms.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience (required – no exceptions)

Required Technical Skills

• 8–10 years of hands?on experience with Java (required)
• Strong experience with Python (required)
• Proven experience working in AWS environments (required)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or similar)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud?native architectures and distributed systems
• Experience supporting customer?facing, enterprise?scale applications
• Prior experience working in highly regulated or large enterprise environments is a plus
