Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Appian Certified Senior Developer/ Lead Developer

• Strong hands on experience with Appian SAIL, Records, and Process Models

• Expertise in:

o Record Types, Record Actions, and Record Security

o Expression Rules, Decision Rules, and Query Rules

• Design, develop, and support Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions using Appian

• Proven experience building REST/SOAP integrations using Appian

• Knowledge of connected systems, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and JSON mapping

• Build end to end document ingestion workflows including classification, extraction, validation, and exception handling

• Experience with Appian deployment packages and environment promotion

• Ability to troubleshoot performance and process issues

• Exposure to Appian RPA or Process HQ

• Mentor junior developers on IDP patterns, best practices, and troubleshooting

• Strong logical skills and exposure to AI Document Centre

Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience with:

o Document classification and extraction models

o Structured, semi structured, and unstructured documents

o Confidence scores and exception handling

• Build scalable, record centric applications using Appian best practices

• Develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations

• Designing human in the loop (HITL) workflows for document review and correction

• Training, testing, and refining extraction models

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions

• Lead design discussions and perform code reviews

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability

• Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams

• Support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

• Act as technical lead for IDP initiatives or workstreams

• Mentor and guide junior developers on Appian IDP and AI features

• Review IDP designs, models, and workflows for quality and performance

• Assist with:

o Task breakdown and effort estimation

o Sprint planning and delivery tracking

• Coordinate with product owners, architects, QA, and operations teams

• Proactively identify risks related to document quality, volume, or accuracy

• Support release planning and production issue management

Note : Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
