About The Role

We are seeking a Business Application Analyst (m/w/d) for SAP to join our team in Hamburg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SAP S/4HANA system landscape, specifically focusing on modules FI and RE/FX. Your primary goal will be to ensure the seamless operation of our SAP systems, support ongoing development initiatives, and implement improvements that enhance performance, stability, and user experience. You will act as a key interface between technical teams, stakeholders, and end-users, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification within the financial services industry. You should have proven experience in supporting SAP S/4HANA systems, particularly in modules FI and RE/FX. Strong analytical skills, coupled with the ability to structure and prepare technical requirements for development, are essential. Experience in the financial sector is advantageous, along with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of our SAP S/4HANA system landscape, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• Analyze and specify new ideas and requirements for SAP system enhancements, aligning them with business needs.
• Develop and propose solutions, coordinate with stakeholders and external system providers, and oversee implementation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, usability, and reliability.
• Coordinate testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with users regarding system updates and fixes.
• Ensure high data quality standards and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and processes.
• Manage regulatory and compliance requirements related to SAP applications within your scope.
• Collaborate closely with various departments, IT specialists, software vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless integration and support.
• Act as a point of contact for user inquiries, conduct training sessions, and facilitate knowledge transfer to enhance user competence.
• Implement application parameterizations independently and contribute to project workstreams.
• Address regulatory inquiries and ensure SAP system compliance with relevant standards and policies.
