Our client, a leading organization in the technology and enterprise solutions sector, is seeking a Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE to join their team. As a Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE, you will be part of the Technology and Innovation Department supporting the Application Development and Architecture teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, guide, and oversee the architecture of critical enterprise applications
• Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leads to deliver scalable and secure solutions
• Lead technical design decisions that align with enterprise standards and strategies
• Support cloud-native applications and modern development practices
• Perform architectural reviews, analyze technical debt, and evaluate solution alternatives

What's Needed?

• 10+ years in software development and application design
• 5+ years acting as an Application Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and enterprise application frameworks
• Experience designing multitier and microservices-based architectures
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration patterns
