About
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is looking for a .NET Application Developer to join our Custom Application Development team and contribute to the design, development, and support of business-critical applications. This role is ideal for a developer with a strong foundation in .NET/C#, practical experience with Microsoft Azure, and solid knowledge of SQL Server, who is ready to take ownership of applications and grow with our company. The job will be based in the Pittsburgh Paints Company headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET
- Contribute to cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Integration Services
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and queries
- Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, architects, and business partners to implement new features and enhancements
- Build and maintain APIs and integrate with internal and third-party systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Support application deployment and monitoring in Azure environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of professional experience preferred
- Strong experience with .NET (Framework or Core) and C#
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, Integration Services, or similar)
- Solid understanding of SQL Server, including T-SQL and basic performance optimization
- Experience with APIs and service-based architectures
- Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git)
- Experience with microservices or distributed architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile or iterative development environment
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular
- Experience supporting existing applications in a production environment
