Application Engineer

Your Future Role

• Conduct technical presales: customer discovery, ROI presentations, and complimentary measurement services at prospective paint shops
• Execute on-site hardware installation, system commissioning, and operator training at customer paint shops
• Provide ongoing technical support and account management, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues remotely and on-site
• Independent work, proactive customer communication, and ownership of results
• Collaborate with the ESS R&D and product team in Steyr, Austria, feeding field insights back into product development
• Global customer support and collaborate with cross- functional teams worldwide

You offer

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
• Junior to Senior: 0–8+ years of experience in application engineering, field service, or technical presales — we are hiring across the full experience range
• Strong communication skills; able to engage both engineers and operations managers in technical discussions
• Preferred: experience in automotive paint processes, industrial robotics, or coating technology
• Willingness to travel internationally; based in Bangalore preferred; fluent English required
