Role Overview

DeepCoolAI is seeking an Application Engineer to support application engineering and technical support activities for our cooling products and solutions. This role will focus on reviewing customer requirements, supporting product selection and preliminary design, preparing technical documentation, and providing technical support for customer and internal requests.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working across engineering, product, and commercial teams. • This role is fully remote with up to 20% travel to the United States*

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, application requirements, and technical documents.
• Support application engineering activities for standard and custom cooling solutions.
• Assist with product selection, preliminary sizing, and system configuration.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and partners.
• Prepare technical submittals, compliance documents, and customer-facing technical materials.
• Support the development of datasheets, specification sheets, and other product documentation.
• Assist with preliminary mechanical and system design activities.
• Perform engineering calculations related to thermal performance, flow, pressure drop, and component selection.
• Review drawings, layouts, and technical configurations for application suitability.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to confirm technical compliance.
• Support troubleshooting and follow-up for technical support requests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in application engineering or technical support for engineered products or systems.
• Ability to review technical specifications and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Experience preparing technical documents, submittals, or support materials.
• Familiarity with engineering design, equipment selection, and technical problem-solving.
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with liquid cooling, HVAC systems, thermal systems, hydronic systems, heat exchangers, pumps, or controls.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, P&IDs, and preliminary design calculations.
• Experience supporting custom-engineered products and application-specific solutions.
• Experience with CAD tools is an asset.
