The Automotive Division of Exide Technologies manufactures 12 V batteries for all drive concepts, from combustion engines and hybrid drives to pure electric vehicles. We offer lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and more. We supply original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with our top brands and those of our customers.

Responsibilities

• You will work as an Application Engineer, strengthening and supporting the application team for its OE customers in Turkey.
• You will act as the first point of contact for the "local" customer in all technical matters and all project phases, coordinating closely with the respective customer support team (KAM and AE).
• You will support the creation of offers and the coordination between customer and account team for project planning and project management.
• You will be responsible for the communication, coordination, and documentation of technical changes with customers.
• You will support customer visits and audits at individual EXIDE sites, as well as quality and warranty issues and analyses with customers.
• You will regularly exchange information with customers on trends and roadmaps for future NV battery applications.
• You will be regularly on-site at our customers' Turkish locations.

What We're Looking For

For our Automotive business unit, we are looking for an Application Engineer / Project Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive OE Turkey as soon as possible. for our location in Büdingen (east of Frankfurt) or from home office in e.g. Munich, Stuttgart, Ingolstadt, Ulm or Augsburg.

Profile

• Completed technical university or university of applied sciences degree
• Professional experience in automotive OEM - focus on OE project management
• Fluent English and Turkish, both written and spoken
• You are a team player with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels
• You possess a high degree of independence, reliability, and initiative
• You hold a Class B driver's license
• You are willing to travel within the EMEA region (approx. 50-70 percent, focus on Turkey)
