At ETAP Software, we develop the leading platform for electrical planning, simulation, and operation – from building installations to industrial power supply systems. As a Customer Success Application Engineer (w/m/d), you will be part of our mission to actively drive the energy transition with digital twins, simulation, and automation. You will quickly become a trusted point of contact for key customer accounts. You will work directly with engineers, planners, and energy experts across Europe – helping them make tomorrow's energy infrastructure safer, more efficient, and more sustainable.
Your Role
In this position, you will combine electrical engineering, software, and customer consulting. You will guide customers through the entire project cycle – from pre-sales and training to consulting and support – helping them make optimal use of ETAP and Caneco. A current focus is on working with Revit and providing support via email, phone, and remote sessions.
Your Tasks
- Technical consulting throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Support in planning and implementation with ETAP & Caneco
- Analysis of workflows, efficiency potentials, and automation options
- Evaluation of BIM-based and classic CAD processes
- Conducting training, workshops, and webinars
- Creation of best-practice templates for planning offices
- Contribution to knowledge transfer by building the internal knowledge base
- Handling technical customer inquiries
- Conveying electrical engineering best practices
- Relaying customer feedback to product and development teams
- Participation in the continuous improvement of the ETAP and Caneco platform

Your Profile
- Completed degree or training in electrical engineering, technical system planning
- Experience in planning, calculation, or commissioning of electrical systems
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable tools is an advantage
- Experience in network calculation is an advantage (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, etc.), in tools like ETAP, Caneco
- Analytical mindset, high customer orientation, and enjoyment of knowledge transfer
- Strong communication skills – in German and ideally also in English
