As an Application Security Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security and integrity of the data pipelines and models we build. You'll leverage your expertise in application security to find vulnerabilities, assess risks, and guide our engineering teams in building secure AI systems. What You'll Do
- Analyze and assess the security of data pipelines and machine learning models.
- Identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks in software applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement security testing methodologies for AI training data and models.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to integrate security best practices.
- Provide clear and actionable recommendations for security improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest application security threats and trends, particularly in the context of AI/ML.
- Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in application security, penetration testing, or security engineering.
- Strong understanding of common web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and the AI development lifecycle.
- Experience securing data pipelines or MLOps infrastructure.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CEH).
