A global organisation operating within the financial and capital markets sector, dedicated to maintaining high-availability platforms and supporting enterprise-level financial systems in a collaborative, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring production systems and coordinating incident management activities
- Executing operational procedures during key business processing cycles
- Collaborating with stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to keep platforms stable
- Creating scripts and technical solutions for urgent operational issues
- Supporting test environments and managing incident communications
- Participating in a support rota, including occasional out-of-hours work
- Assisting with post-release monitoring and ongoing operational improvements
Requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in financial services or regulated environments
- Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and data analysis
- Interest in automation and process improvement
- Understanding of operational controls and support processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage/escalate issues
- Fluency in French and English
- Comfortable providing support via phone, chat, and email
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail in testing, reporting, and production follow-up
Nice to Have
- Experience with incident/change management platforms
- Unix scripting or languages like Python or Java
- Exposure to monitoring tools
- Reporting or business intelligence platforms
Additional Details
- Hybrid working (3 days)
- 6 Month initial contract (Likely to extend!)
- 2 stage IV process
- Stack: SQL (Essential), Python/Java/Power BI (Beneficial)
