Applications Engineer IV (Dev Ops)

Quevera is seeking an Applications Engineer IV (Dev Ops) to design, implement, and optimize modern development pipelines for web applications built with React/Angular and Python-based backends. Key Responsibilities • Design and maintain containerized workflows and automated pipelines for test, staging, and production environments. • Collaborate with front‑end and back‑end teams to streamline deployments. • Build scalable pipelines for frontend (React/Angular) and backend (Python). • Implement automated build, test, and deployment workflows. • Manage deployment strategies and continuous integration & continuous deployment (CI/CD) with AWS services. • Integrate unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing into pipelines. • Enable fast, reproducible developer environments using RHEL‑based systems. • Implement pipeline observability (logs, metrics, alerts). • Troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments. • Support secure and compliant deployments in regulated environments. Required Experience • Ability to obtain DOD 8570‑M, IAT Level 1 clearance. • Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and load balancing (F5/DTC). • Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions. • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv 6. • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. • Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools is a plus. Desired Experience • DNS experience with maintenance of Infoblox. • In‑depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM). • Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles. • Experience coordinating between multiple project teams.
