Role
Within the "Digital Transformation and Progress" Division of the Technical Directorate, you will join the Data team of the Technical Directorate, operating in particular on the axes of engineering and data exploitation.
The Business Data Analyst will support business units in valorizing data, improving reporting quality, and accompanying the development of data use cases, by leveraging the data platform and governance and reporting tools.
Main Responsibilities
Data Governance:
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of data governance
- Contribute to data cataloging
- Participate in data quality actions: identification of rules, monitoring of indicators, contribution to improvement plans
Business Support & Data Use Cases:
- Leverage the Data Platform to support business units in modeling and developing data use cases
- Participate in needs scoping phases
Reporting & Data Visualization:
- Develop, maintain, and evolve Power BI dashboards
- Provide support to business users (analysis, understanding of indicators, continuous improvement of reports)
- Participate in the migration of Power BI reports from an On-Premise environment to Power BI Service (Cloud)
- Contribute to best practices for report modeling, performance, and security
Candidate Profile
Education Requirement:
- Bac +2 level
- Student in Data, Business Intelligence, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent (Bac +3 to Bac +5) training
- Strong interest in data, business uses, and digital transformation
Skills:
- Knowledge in data analysis and business intelligence
- Interest in data governance and data quality.
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Knowledge of Data Modeling and UML
- Knowledge of Collibra will be a plus
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrate autonomy, curiosity, and critical thinking
- Have analytical and synthesis skills
- Show the rigor and organizational skills necessary for respecting and monitoring schedules
- Know how to raise alerts to avoid getting stuck on issues, be proactive
- Be adaptable
- Have good interpersonal skills as you will be working with people from purely IT backgrounds and others from operational backgrounds.
