Our client, a cutting-edge software development firm, is offering an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity for aspiring Junior Front-End Developers to join their team in Umuahia, Abia, NG . You will work alongside experienced mentors, learning the intricacies of front-end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with senior developers and designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional code. Learn and apply modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) as required. Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality and best practices. Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Develop and maintain documentation for front-end components and features. Engage in learning activities, workshops, and training sessions to continuously enhance technical skills. Work with version control systems like Git for collaborative development. Contribute to the testing of front-end code to ensure it meets specified requirements. Support the design team in implementing responsive designs across various devices and screen sizes. Gain exposure to back-end concepts and how front-end integrates with server-side logic. Actively seek feedback and apply it to improve code and development practices. Qualifications: Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of front-end development. Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus. A portfolio of personal projects or academic work demonstrating coding ability is highly recommended. Must be eligible to participate in an apprenticeship program.
