ENTER THE GAME 🎮
As an Offensive Security Apprentice, you will join Betclic’s Security team and work closely with experienced professionals to identify, analyze, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across our systems. You will actively contribute to strengthening Betclic’s security posture through hands-on offensive security activities, research, and tooling development in a fast-paced and highly technical environment.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥
In this role, your main missions will be:
- Perform security audits on internal applications and features (web, mobile, APIs)
- Participate in Red Team operations under senior supervision
- Actively hunt for vulnerabilities across Betclic’s infrastructure and applications
- Contribute to offensive security R&D, including exploring new attack techniques and testing in controlled environments
- Develop and maintain internal tools (automation, offensive frameworks)
- Participate in malware development projects (implants, payloads, AV/EDR evasion)
- Track vulnerabilities and ensure proper remediation follow-up
- Support incident response activities in collaboration with the SOC
- Collaborate with internal teams (Blue Team, Cloud, Compliance) to improve overall security posture
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT 💻
- Web technologies, APIs, mobile environments
- Network and system security (Linux/Windows)
- Offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, etc.)
- Scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Red Team tooling and frameworks
- Malware development and evasion techniques
- Cloud environments and modern infrastructure
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm !
This job is for you if:
- You have strong foundations in offensive security (web, network, system vulnerabilities)
- You already have hands-on experience (CTFs, bug bounty, personal projects, home labs, open-source contributions)
- You demonstrate strong technical curiosity and the ability to learn autonomously
- You have an interest in offensive development (scripting, tooling, malware development)
- You are able to clearly document and communicate your findings
- You are comfortable working in English (reading and writing)
- You are eager to grow in a challenging and collaborative environment
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝
If your application is shortlisted, a Talent Acquisition Specialist will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
Next, you will meet the Offensive Security Manager, your future manager, followed by a team member from the Security team.
About two weeks later, you will take a technical test with one of our Security experts.
Finally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.
The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
