Responsibilities

The Information Systems Department of Safran Aircraft Engines is looking for an Apprentice Project Manager / PMO to join the Methods & Tools department. As part of the animation and structuring of activities around project management, you will be paired with an experienced Methods & Tools Manager to develop functional skills on the following actions:

Project Support and Monitoring

  • Active participation in project management instances within the IT department, ensuring effective operational relay between the different teams.
  • Preparation of milestone reviews in collaboration with project managers, ensuring the quality and completeness of data related to costs, quality, and deadlines (QCD).
  • Methodological support for project teams: advice, sharing best practices, and disseminating tools adapted to each context.
  • Contribution to regular reporting, promoting optimal transparency with all stakeholders.

Methodology and Continuous Improvement

  • Participation in the preparation of monthly strategic meetings for the Methods & Tools department (support materials, indicators, analyses).
  • Identification and proposal of improvement areas for project management processes and methodologies (review and optimization of workflows, formalization of feedback, monitoring new practices).
  • Support for cross-functional actions: project governance, project culture, etc.

Tools

  • Regular maintenance and updating of milestone tracking tools, in line with departmental expectations.
  • Support for the development, evolution, and digitalization of project management tools and KPI dashboards, as well as the exploitation and analysis of associated project data.

Qualifications

You are pursuing a Bac +4 or Bac +5 degree from an Engineering School, University, or Business/Management School, looking for an apprenticeship. You have knowledge in project management and/or IT that you have successfully applied during your studies. Reactive, rigorous, autonomous, and with excellent interpersonal skills, you wish to evolve in a challenging environment.
