Engineering Manager | Role Overview

Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid: Monday-Wednesday in office) Team: Software Engineering Reports to: VP of Software Engineering | Dan Rohtbart | LinkedIn

We are hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Customer Acquisition team. This team is responsible for Stripe integration, Marketing page optimization, and similar systems related to customer onboarding (DTC, retail, eCommerce, Amazon).

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to prioritize opportunities • Design solutions to capture business opportunities to acquire new golfers and ensure they remain through free trial. • Manage 2-3 senior engineers as they deliver new solutions • Deliver, about 50% of your time • Improve engineering’s operational excellence, as part of the Engineering Leadership Team

Required

• 2+ years as Engineering Manager or Tech Lead • 2+ years as a Senior Engineer • 2+ years in Full-Stack Web (Svelte preferred) • 1+ years in Platform Integrations (e.g. Stripe) • Experience with AI-enabled development • Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

• Interest in golf • Experience with customer acquisition for retail products • Experience with mobile app development
