Role

Software Architect

So, what will I do?

• Collaborate with other software development capabilities to iteratively design, develop, validate, and operate software at scale using agile techniques.
• Provide oversight and guidance for other software engineers.
• Lead the development of the implementation plan: designing the solution, setting patterns and practices and aligning to the project roadmap.
• Write high-quality application code using emerging technologies and frameworks primarily targeting cloud-based ecosystems.
• Verify components at the unit and integration level using proven validation techniques.
• Develop supporting scripts and routines that automate procedures and help maintain components in production environments.

And, what will I bring?

• Your primary responsibility will be to lead small development teams to deliver functioning, validated code leaning on your breadth and depth of business expertise.
• You will bring depth and perspective through increased specialization in a given technology.
• Collaboration is essential, as you must be able to provide clear direction to your team while integrating their feedback to align with the overall technical direction of the product team.
• Humble expertise will allow you to listen and observe your clients’ needs to best apply your knowledge.
• Curiosity will drive you to understand why a contribution from your team caused a break in the build, as well as contribute to the maintenance of the pipeline or test suite.
• A desire to learn and grow will be fueled by your surroundings as you continue to develop your technical expertise across different technologies and platforms.
• You take pride in your work and take the time to recognize your team’s contributions to the software you build.

Tech Stack

• Modern front-end web platforms using Angular.
• Backend APIs and services developed from emerging frameworks and modern architectural patterns, including Java, .NET, Python, and relational and non-relational databases.
• Cloud-native hosting and application services from leading cloud platforms like AWS.
• Operational efficiencies powered by modern ecosystems and automated build and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborative development practices that allow our teams to remain agile and responsive to client needs.

Hybrid / On-site

We operate in a hybrid model, but it is expected that you can go on-site when required by your team lead or a client.
