To support our client specializing in the security sector, we are looking for a Systems & Software Architect.

As a Systems and Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing the system and software architecture of solutions while defining, in collaboration with business owners, the product development roadmap.

Responsibilities

Your missions will include:

• Designing and specifying the systems and subsystems that make up solutions implementing microprocessors, microcontrollers, graphics processors, electronic boards, sensors...
• Developing system architectures and defining their interfaces
• Specifying hardware requirements in collaboration with the hardware team
• Defining functional requirements and system behaviors
• Ensuring the integration of software in embedded environments (RTOS, embedded Linux, etc.)
• Designing and structuring the software architecture of products, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• Choosing technologies and frameworks adapted to the company's needs
• Ensuring consistency between different software modules and defining their interfaces
• Coaching development teams in implementing good development practices (testing, CI/CD, documentation)
• Working in close collaboration with technical, marketing, and sales teams to ensure products meet user and market needs
• Prioritizing the product backlog based on business and user needs

About You

You are...

An experienced technical profile, both a system and software architect with a strong interest in product management. You are autonomous, rigorous, and enjoy tackling complex challenges in an innovative environment.

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, embedded systems engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years as a software architect and/or embedded systems engineer, ideally on RF/HF or sensor systems with product management experience.
• Solid experience in designing complex systems involving HW and SW and specifying their components
• Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.)
• Knowledge of embedded environments (RTOS, embedded Linux)
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture design and embedded product development
• Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Git, etc.)
• Understanding of user needs and ability to translate these needs into technical specifications
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory…)
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills for product lifecycle management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Leadership and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to solve complex problems and make strategic decisions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Organizational skills and rigor
