About the role
Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer to manage construction processes, ensure quality standards, and provide technical support across project phases.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction technology, site supervision, and project coordination, with the ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Technology Management
Drawings and Planning
- Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with design consultants to resolve technical issues and discrepancies
- Prepare construction methodologies, work plans, and specialized execution strategies (e.g., deep foundation systems, high formwork structures)
- Conduct technical briefings to ensure site teams understand project requirements and standards
On-Site Technical Supervision
- Provide technical guidance and resolve construction-related challenges
- Oversee critical construction activities such as foundation works and structural installations
- Verify measurements, alignments, and elevations to ensure precision and compliance
Quality Control and Compliance
Quality Assurance
- Supervise the inspection and approval of construction materials (e.g., steel, concrete)
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved standards and specifications
- Monitor workmanship, including formwork installation, reinforcement, and concrete works
- Lead inspections and acceptance processes for key project stages (e.g., foundation, structural completion)
Documentation and Records
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including concealed works documentation
- Ensure proper documentation (reports, images, and videos) aligns with project progress
- Support the preparation and submission of project completion and regulatory documentation
Project Progress and Cost Management
Progress Monitoring
- Develop and track project schedules, ensuring timely execution of activities
- Monitor the use of labor, equipment, and materials, and identify potential delays
- Coordinate activities across multiple disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, finishing)
Cost Control
- Review project quantities and approvals to prevent cost overruns
- Recommend cost‑saving measures, including material substitutions and process improvements
- Support efficient resource utilization to maintain budget compliance
Safety Management
- Identify potential site risks and implement preventive safety measures
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on‑site
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols among workers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
