Architectural Designer

Responsibilities

• Follow principal’s creative direction to develop design concepts into presentations and construction documents
• Creative and technical position requiring interest and inquiry into full range of classical precedent to emerging trends
• Production and coordination of comprehensive construction document packages including space planning, millwork, detailing, schedules, and furnishings
• Coordinate bidding, contracts, project management, submittals
• Work with principal and team of architects, project managers, draftsman and interior designers to produce complete contract documents for high end residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years experience
• Must be local to DC and able to work full time in office
• Professional degree in architecture, interior architecture or interior design or work equivalent
• Experience and proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit and other 3d drafting, modeling, rendering and presentation skills appreciated
