The Role
OLIPOP is searching for an Area Sales Manager to join our team and represent us in Phoenix. This position focuses on impact in the field built on the back of amazing relationships. You will prioritize your time to focus on the highest impact areas, working with and inspiring our DSD partners and third-party sales resources in the region. You’ll open new doors and build on high velocities already seen in the market. This role offers a fast-paced environment, personal growth, responsibility, and fun.

Responsibilities
- Deliver on monthly volume and distribution goals and achieve overall objectives in the market.
- Manage partnerships with distributors, food brokers, and retailers in the Phoenix market.
- Conduct weekly “route rides” with DSD partners and food brokers, pinpointing opportunities for underperforming accounts and routes.
- Monitor inventory and proper use of P.O.S. material.
- Follow through on all commitments made to distributor management, sales personnel, and the trade.
- Assist Regional Sales Manager in distributor management meetings with reports on distribution, display, and sales.
- Implement and execute incentive programs to guide distributor organizations in achieving sales objectives.
- Manage chain retailers: new item launches and retail programs.
- Identify and open new accounts, build relationships, and gain opportunities for secondary points of purchase, shelf expansion, and cooler placement.
- Collaborate with field-marketing teams to create comprehensive marketing plans to increase market share profitably.

- Strong planning, organization, project management, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Competence in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with Slack and Zoom preferred.
- Strong preference for candidates who live in Phoenix and can travel daily in the assigned region.
- Clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.

Compensation
$72K - $80K base + bonus
