AI Platform Engineer

We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer to help design and build the intelligent systems powering the ERA platform. This role sits at the intersection of AI, data, and backend systems, and plays a key part in transforming research ideas into reliable production solutions used in real-world risk engineering workflows.

A core part of this role includes building intelligent conversational systems that can answer questions, retrieve relevant data, and assist users in navigating complex operational information.

Success in this role means building scalable AI systems that improve operational efficiency, generate meaningful insights from data, and integrate seamlessly into our platform to support engineers and decision-makers.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI services used across the platform
• Develop models that analyze operational data and generate actionable insights
• Build forecasting models for workload, timelines, and system performance
• Develop AI-driven automation workflows (alerts, recommendations, validations)
• Design and build conversational AI systems capable of answering questions and retrieving relevant data
• Integrate AI models into backend services and APIs
• Prepare and structure datasets for machine learning applications
• Monitor and evaluate model performance, and improve accuracy over time
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and domain teams to deliver practical solutions

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience building and deploying machine learning or AI-driven systems
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-based systems
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with LLMs, conversational AI, or retrieval systems
• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on real-world applications
